Our client seeks a senior Alteryx Report Writer with strong content accounting expertise to enhance a newly implemented accounting workflow. The consultant will drive reporting improvements, build forecasting and amortization models, and harmonize processes for U.S. and Japan operations. The engagement requires close partnership with accounting, finance, and business stakeholders to improve workflow efficiency, reporting accuracy, and scenario planning.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $70.00 to $75.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance financial and operational reporting capabilities.
• Serve as the primary report writer for the platform, creating standard and ad hoc reports.
• Translate complex accounting and content performance data into actionable insights.
• Design and implement forecasting functionality within the current workflow environment.
• Extend posting processes to support forecast generation and scenario planning.
• Build and maintain amortization forecasting models in Alteryx with configurable assumptions.
• Apply content accounting knowledge across production and third-party content arrangements.
• Support processes tied to guaranteed payments and performance-based agreements.
• Align accounting treatments and forecasts with business requirements.
• Analyze U.S. Alteryx workflows versus Japan spreadsheets and processes.
• Identify process gaps, data differences, and reporting inconsistencies between regions.
• Design and execute a harmonized future-state workflow for U.S. and Japan.
• Coordinate data mapping, transformation, and validation for consistency and scalability.

Experience Requirements:

• Strong content accounting experience in streaming, media, entertainment, or production.
• Experience supporting workflows for production and third-party content arrangements.
• Advanced report-writing capabilities.
• Experience developing financial forecasts, amortization schedules, and scenario models.
• Understanding of accounting workflows, journal entries, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proven ability to assess new systems and improve operations.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a visible consulting engagement.
• Preferred: Experience with streaming media organizations or content platforms.
• Preferred: Experience succeeding post-implementation after large consulting firms.
• Preferred: Familiarity with international process harmonization and workflow transformations.
• Preferred: Experience identifying automation opportunities in accounting and finance.
