Pipe Stress Engineer

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Engineering Firm located in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves working on projects that include state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. The successful candidate will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while working with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to design a variety of equipment, facilities, and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks
• Develop and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Work on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facility projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• At least 2 years of engineering experience
• Knowledge of pipe stress analysis and support design
• Ability to be on a client job site a minimum of 2 days/week
• Strong communication skills

Desired skills:

• Experience working in construction environments, including field verifications
• Experience with pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II
• Experience with design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD

Pay range: up to $49.00 per hour
