What You'll Do
Support Additive Manufacturing Operations
Plan, setup, and execute additive manufacturing builds using industrial 3D printing systems
Optimize build orientation, support structures, and process parameters for quality and efficiency
Post-process additively manufactured parts including support removal, heat treatment, and media blasting
Troubleshoot build failures and drive continuous improvement in additive processes
Develop and refine manufacturing processes for new additive technologies and materials
Engineer Better Processes
Design and fabricate work holding fixturing for post processing additive components
Contribute to process development, refininf build layouts, and support removal strategies for improved quality
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action for production issues
Document manufacturing processes, build parameters, and setup procedures for repeatability
General Support
Support other departments (e.g., Quality, Subtractive Manufacturing, Assembly) as needed based on business demand
