Job Description

Role: Senior Salesforce Architect
Location: 100% Remote
Client: American Dental Association (ADA)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Employment Type: C2C
Interview Process: One Virtual Interview
Expected Start Date: Week of October 26, 2026

Required Qualifications:
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certification is mandatory.
At least one additional certification:
Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect
Salesforce Certified Platform Integration Architect
Salesforce Certified Platform Sharing and Visibility Architect
8+ years of enterprise application experience with a bachelor's degree, or 12+ years without a degree.
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and delivery experience.
3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Technical Lead.
Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Salesforce Flow, and Salesforce configuration.
Experience designing Salesforce architecture, data models, security, integrations, and custom solutions.
Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or similar external-user/member portals.
Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, integration patterns, asynchronous processing, error handling, and data reconciliation.
Experience with Salesforce security, sharing rules, permission sets, profiles, and field-level security.
Experience with Salesforce DevOps, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and release management.
Ability to troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and reduce technical debt.
Strong communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Fonteva experience is highly preferred, particularly architecture, development, administration, or upgrades.
Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS), membership organizations, or nonprofit organizations.
Knowledge of membership management, renewals, dues, billing, payments, refunds, and financial reconciliation.
Experience with managed packages and customization of existing Salesforce environments.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Copado, Git-based source control, and automated deployments.
Experience with platform modernization, migration planning, and vendor transition.
Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft 365, identity management, and enterprise integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and govern Salesforce/Fonteva solution architecture and technical standards.
Provide hands-on technical leadership for Salesforce development, automation, and configuration.
Review Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL, metadata, and integration implementations.
Design secure and scalable APIs and integrations across multiple systems.
Establish data governance, security controls, and external-user access patterns.
Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, technical estimations, and release readiness.
Troubleshoot production issues and improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Reduce unnecessary customization, technical debt, and vendor dependency.
Collaborate with developers, Salesforce administrators, business analysts, product owners, QA teams, and vendors.
Maintain architecture documentation, technical decisions, and implementation guidelines.
Support modernization strategies and future CRM/AMS platform improvements.

Certification Requirements:

Mandatory: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer + at least one of the following:

Salesforce Certified Platform Data Architect
Salesforce Certified Platform Integration Architect
Salesforce Certified Platform Sharing and Visibility Architect

Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect certifications are additional advantages.

Additional Information:
Fully remote position within the United States.
Fonteva experience is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
One virtual interview with the team.
The client may consider the candidate for a full-time position after the 12-month contract, subject to approval.
