Job Description

Southport Sharks is looking for a hands on AI Business Analyst to help us unlock greater value from our data and create smarter, more efficient ways of working across the Club.

You will spend time with our teams, understand how work is really done, connect information across systems and build practical solutions that improve reporting, reduce manual effort and support better decisions.

With operations spanning Gaming, Food and Beverage, Hotel, Health Club, Membership, Football and corporate services, no two projects will look the same. Hospitality or venue experience will help you quickly understand the pace, complexity and customer focus of our business.

What you will do

  • Reporting to our CFO you will work with leaders to identify inefficiencies, data gaps and high value improvement opportunities.
  • Map data flows, gather requirements and translate business needs into clear solution options.
  • Combine and improve data from multiple systems to create useful dashboards, reporting and operational insights.
  • Build, test and support practical AI, automation and workflow solutions using approved tools.
  • Ensure every solution meets privacy, security, risk and responsible AI requirements.

What you will bring

  • Experience across business analysis, data analysis, business intelligence, process improvement or automation.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, problem solving and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working with dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or equivalent.
  • An applied understanding of AI and automation tools.
  • The ability to turn complex data and technical concepts into clear business recommendations.
  • A practical, collaborative style and genuine interest in helping teams work better.
