The Role

• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and subject matter experts, to gather and organize technical information.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems.
• Maintain revision history, version control, and documentation repositories for accessibility and traceability.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer in a technology-focused environment.
• Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information.
• Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms or similar project plans.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
