Process Engineer

Are you a driven engineer who enjoys solving complex process challenges and improving industrial performance through innovation?

Were looking for a Process Engineer to support the design, optimisation, and continuous improvement of advanced treatment technologies and manufacturing processes. In this role, youll work closely with engineering, operations, and customer teams to enhance process performance, develop technical solutions, and help deliver world-class environmental technology projects from concept through to operation.

What youll be doing

  • Supporting the design, development, and optimisation of process systems and treatment technologies.
  • Analysing process performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
  • Conducting process modelling, calculations, mass balances, and performance assessments.
  • Supporting pilot trials, commissioning activities, and process validation programmes.
  • Investigating process issues and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams including R&D, Operations, Manufacturing, and Project Delivery.
  • Producing technical documentation, process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and performance reports.
  • Providing technical support to customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Contributing to innovation, product development, and continuous improvement initiatives.


What were looking for

  • Experience in Process Engineering within manufacturing, chemical processing, environmental technologies, water treatment, wastewater treatment, or industrial process industries.
  • Strong understanding of process design principles, process optimisation, and operational performance.
  • Knowledge of process equipment such as pumps, vessels, pipework systems, filtration technologies, adsorption systems, or related treatment processes.
  • Experience analysing process data and using engineering tools to solve technical challenges.
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a practical and hands-on approach.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, trials, or plant operations would be advantageous.
  • Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
