Role Overview:
Seeking a senior Project Manager/PMO professional to support agency-wide project management and governance functions for the South Carolina Department of Public Health. The role will support implementation of a new Project Management System, portfolio oversight, Power BI dashboards, user training, stakeholder engagement, change management, and strategic technology projects.

Required Skills:

• 15+ years of Project Management experience

• 10+ years of State/Federal IT project experience

• 10+ years implementing Project Management Systems

• 8+ years creating Power BI Dashboards

• 10+ years of Change Management experience

• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business Administration

• PMP or CSM certification

Preferred:

• Public Health software implementation experience

• CompTIA A+ certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Support large-scale technology and business projects

• Implement and support Project Management Systems

• Provide portfolio governance and project visibility

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards

• Support organizational change management and user training

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement

• Maintain PM standards, processes, and best practices

• Lead strategic projects and improve project management maturity

Onsite: Approximately once per month to once per quarter, based on project needs, with potential for short-notice onsite requirements.
