The Role • Prepare, review, revise, and maintain a wide range of technical documents, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, security handling procedures, and training materials. • Collaborate with developers to produce high-quality documentation for software and systems, encompassing installation, configuration, and user guides. • Research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and translate complex technical details into easily understandable written content. • Support configuration management activities and documentation oversight functions within a collaborative team environment. • Produce documentation for hardware and software, including code documentation, implementation guides, and end-user guides. • Coordinate the layout and design of technical publications. What You'll Need • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience, alongside extensive technical writing experience on programs of similar scope and complexity. • Proficiency in multiple word processing and presentation tools (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio). • Ability to gather technical information and prepare written text that is comprehensible to a wide audience. • Experience working with engineers and subject matter experts to capture technical details. • Understanding of basic grammar and technical writing concepts.
