Overview

A leading financial markets organisation is seeking an experienced FX Hedge Fund Sales professional to join its London-based team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with a broad range of hedge fund clients, delivering FX products and solutions while driving revenue growth across the franchise.

This role is suited to an established sales professional with extensive relationships across the hedge fund community, a strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, and a proven ability to originate and execute business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with hedge fund clients across the UK and EMEA.
• Drive sales and revenue generation across FX Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, and FX Options.
• Identify new business opportunities and increase wallet share across existing client accounts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for hedge fund clients, providing market intelligence, trade ideas, and product solutions.
• Work closely with Trading and Structuring teams to deliver tailored hedging and investment strategies.
• Develop a deep understanding of client investment objectives, trading strategies, and risk management requirements.
• Coordinate cross-product opportunities and collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide best-in-class client coverage.
• Monitor market developments and communicate actionable insights to clients.
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Requirements

• Significant experience within FX Sales, Institutional Sales, Macro Sales, or Hedge Fund Coverage.
• Extensive and demonstrable relationships with hedge fund clients, including portfolio managers, traders, and investment teams.
• Strong understanding of FX products including Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs, and Options.
• Proven track record of generating revenues and growing client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify new trading opportunities.
• Deep understanding of hedge fund trading strategies and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and highly competitive environment.

Preferred Experience

• Existing relationships with macro, multi-strategy, systematic, relative value, and quantitative hedge funds.
• Experience covering UK and European hedge fund clients.
• Strong understanding of derivatives and broader macro markets.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with trading and product teams to deliver bespoke client solutions.
