Job Title: O9 Supply Chain Planner
Location – Jersey City NJ Onsite

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced O9 Supply Chain Planner with strong functional knowledge of supply chain planning processes and hands-on experience working with the O9 platform. The candidate will be responsible for executing planning cycles, analyzing demand and supply scenarios, resolving planning exceptions, and working closely with business stakeholders to support effective planning decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and support planning activities using the O9 platform across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/IBP, and related planning processes.
• Manage day-to-day planning cycles and ensure timely completion of planning activities.
• Analyze demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and production constraints to identify risks and opportunities.
• Review planning exceptions, alerts, shortages, excess inventory, and capacity constraints and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform what-if and scenario analysis to evaluate different demand and supply situations.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand planning requirements and translate them into effective planning processes.
• Support planners during active business planning cycles and resolve functional/process-related issues.
• Monitor planning KPIs and provide actionable insights to business teams.
• Validate planning outputs and ensure data consistency and business usability.
• Collaborate with O9 functional/configuration and technical teams for system enhancements and issue resolution.
• Support UAT, business validation, go-live, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Prepare process documentation, user guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Act as a bridge between business planners and the O9 implementation/support team.

Your internal O9 requirements similarly emphasize planners operating during active planning cycles and understanding the trade-offs among forecast accuracy, supply feasibility, and business usability.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Supply Chain Planning.
• Functional understanding of:
• Demand Planning
• Supply Planning
• Inventory Planning
• Production/Capacity Planning
• S&OP / Integrated Business Planning
• Hands-on experience working with O9 Solutions.
• Good understanding of planning models, measures, dimensions, hierarchies, dashboards, and workflows.
• Experience analyzing supply-demand imbalances and planning exceptions.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder communication and business-facing capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder/JDA, or Anaplan in addition to O9. These are also identified as relevant supplementary planning-platform
• Basic SQL/data-analysis knowledge for validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience in CPG, Retail, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, or Consumer Products.
• Exposure to Agile delivery and production-support environments.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should combine strong supply chain planning knowledge with practical O9 experience. The emphasis should be on using O9 to make and support business planning decisions, rather than deep configuration or development responsibilities.
