HVAC Engineer

Job Title: HVAC Engineer<br />Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas<br />Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience<br />Benefits: Company van, 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays and pension<br />Curve Recruitment are working with an established M&amp;E and HVAC Building Services Contractor based near Newmarket who are looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their growing HVAC team.<br />This is a great opportunity for an experienced HVAC Engineer looking to join a growing business with a varied workload across commercial and residential projects.<br />The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning systems working across a variety of sites and dealing directly with clients and other contractors.<br />You will work closely with the HVAC Manager and wider M&amp;E team to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.<br />As the HVAC Engineer, you will have the following

responsibilities:

• Carry out installation, service and maintenance of air conditioning systems.
• Work on a range of commercial and residential projects.
• Install and commission split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on air conditioning systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts.
• Complete service reports and relevant job documentation.
• Liaise with clients.
• Ensure compliance with F-Gas legislation and relevant industry standards.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures.<br />The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
• Experience in installation, servicing and fault finding.
• Relevant air conditioning/HVAC qualifications.
• F-Gas certification.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
