This role sits in our Corporate Affairs team, which looks after all internal and external communications for M Group. The team keeps our people informed about what's happening across our Group, handles relationships with media and stakeholders, and manages our marketing and digital channels.
Please Note: This is a Fixed Term Contract for 6 Months.

What will you be doing?
We are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Business Partner to support the delivery of engaging and effective communications across the business, with a particular focus on organisational change. Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you will help guide colleagues through change initiatives by creating clear, consistent, and impactful communications.
Acting as a trusted advisor, you will develop and deliver communication plans that build understanding, increase engagement, and support the successful adoption of new ways of working. You'll be responsible for translating complex information into simple, compelling messages tailored to different audiences.
Working as part of the Group Marketing & Communications team, you will collaborate across the wider communications function to ensure activities are aligned, coordinated, and support the overall business strategy. You'll also advise leaders on the most effective communication channels and approaches to reach their teams.
The role will involve creating content across a variety of channels, supporting internal events, developing key messaging and narratives, and coaching leaders to communicate confidently and effectively. You'll play a key role in fostering a positive culture and maintaining a strong one-team approach across the organisation.
What you'll bring:
Essential
Extensive experience managing internal communications, with an ability to build productive, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience of successfully managing change communications.
A track-record of implementing internal communications which drive positive engagement.
Able to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment, keeping stakeholders informed and managing expectations.
Robust attention to detail with clear and concise writing style.
Comfortable working in a technical environment.
Desirable
Experience of working in a wider communications landscape and ensuring activity is coordinated.
Experience of utilising AI to support successful and productive outputs.
