Job Description

Payrate: $66.67 - $66.67/hr.
Summary:
The candidate will serve as a senior developer on the ISG Operations & Enablement team, handling on-call duties and developing automation for cloud accounts, infrastructure, FinOps, and enablement. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves explaining code to team members, supporting other development teams, and coaching others to success. The candidate will also troubleshoot production issues and work with global teams to support ISG initiatives.
Responsibilities

Serve as a senior developer on the ISG Operations & Enablement team, including handling on-call duties.
Write code independently without direct supervision.
Develop automation for cloud accounts, infrastructure, FinOps, and enablement.
Troubleshoot production issues and communicate root cause of problems to others.
Work with teams globally to support ISG initiatives.

Qualifications

6 years of experience with AWS services [ECS, S3, ES, Lambda, ELB].
2 years of experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
2 years of experience with Elastic Search/Open Search administration or support.
4 years of experience with infrastructure as code, automation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
4 years of experience with application development and scripting languages.
4 years of experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
AWS Certification (Developer/Architect/DevOps).
4 years of experience with Python, Boto, Terraform, TypeScript.
4 years of experience with GitHub Actions CI/CD.
Experience with Agile development processes including Test Driven Development, Test Automation, and PYTest.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a global team environment.
Experience with applications development environment, database, data administration, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Able to participate in on-call rotation every month and handle off-hours support work.
Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time or less, mainly to an ISG location.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $66.67 - $66.67/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
