X-Lab Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a X-Lab Systems Engineer to join our Client's team. This position will act as the first line of defense for user level interactions and issues. The position will be primarily supporting users in person, secure phone, email or instant message (IM). This position will be customer facing, so refined customer service skill, in addition to IT skills is a must for this position. You must be comfortable with diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with remote users on a daily basis. This position will also support MDA flight tests and focus on the integration of the R&D systems into C2BMC and will contribute to other ongoing X-Lab projects as needed.

General Experience

• Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
• Domain account creation (along with restricted security group add abilities).
• User password resets. User VDI troubleshooting. Application installations and troubleshooting for users.
• User thin client troubleshooting. Work with active directory team and compliance/patching admins to work through updating processes and procedures.
• RedHat 7/8/9 administrative experience in an enterprise environment.
• Windows 10/11 administrative experience in an enterprise environment.
• Sec+ within 60 days of start date Preferred qualifications:
• Ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience with supporting users in an enterprise level system.
• Experience with installing and troubleshooting windows and Linux applications.
• Comfortable with interfacing professionally wit users and customers in an IT service type setting. Ability to write and edit technical documentation of processes/procedures in solutions such as Atlassian Confluence.
