Webilent is seeking an experienced healthcare technology and IT operations leader to oversee programs and platforms supporting Medicare and Medicaid operations. This role will connect business operations, IT teams, vendors and executive stakeholders to improve delivery, system performance and operational results.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee IT infrastructure, production support, software development, EDI integrations, and healthcare claims systems.
Manage development, support, infrastructure, and EDI teams.
Lead application design, development, implementation, and day-to-day IT operations.
Conduct daily stand-ups, establish priorities, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery.
Partner with business, clinical, operations, and executive stakeholders.
Manage vendors, budgets, risks, compliance, system performance, and production issues.
Improve the accuracy and reliability of healthcare file exchanges and APIs.
Qualifications
Previous hands-on experience as a programmer or software developer with a strong understanding of application design and development.
IT leadership experience managing development, support, infrastructure, and EDI teams.
Healthcare payer experience with Medicare, Medicaid, claims, enrollment, eligibility, and prior authorization.
Knowledge of EDI transactions, including 834, 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278, and 820.
Experience with healthcare APIs, CMS interoperability, encounter data, provider files, capitation/PMPM, accumulators, and NCPDP pharmacy transactions.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, governance, and problem-solving skills.
