Workday Enterprise Architect

Workday Enterprise Architect Location: Los Angeles, CA (ONSITE) *Permanent Position
Our client has retained us to identify an experienced Workday Enterprise Architect to provide strategic and technical leadership across the Workday ecosystem and broader enterprise applications environment. This role will define scalable architecture, lead integrations and data strategy, partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT stakeholders, and drive enterprise technology initiatives from current-state assessment through implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications, systems architecture, or related technology roles
• Strong Workday experience across HCM, Benefits, integrations, security, and enterprise data
• Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs, middleware, and related integration technologies
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data governance, security, and application lifecycle management
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and technology roadmaps
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, vendors, and enterprise technology initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with both technical and business audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and technical strategy for Workday and connected enterprise applications
• Design and oversee integrations, interfaces, data flows, and enterprise system connectivity
• Partner with HR, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and IT leadership to translate business needs into technology solutions
• Establish architectural standards for scalability, security, data integrity, and system performance
• Lead Workday releases, technical changes, testing, deployments, and ongoing platform optimization
• Assess current-state architecture and processes, define future-state solutions, and develop implementation plans
• Lead technical initiatives, vendors, and cross-functional teams while driving continuous improvement
• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across the broader enterprise applications environment
