Job Description

🔒 Requirement: HIPAA Certified

⏲️ Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week

About The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Medical/Dental Receptionist to join a growing U.S.-based healthcare practice.

If you have strong experience managing high call volumes, scheduling patients, and delivering warm, professional communication, we’d love to hear from you.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring every interaction is handled with care, accuracy, and HIPAA compliance.

What You'll Do:

  • Answer high-volume inbound patient calls (~250 calls/day)

  • Handle new patient inquiries and general questions

  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments in EMR/practice systems

  • Route, transfer, and log calls accurately

  • Respond to patient emails and messages

  • Take detailed messages and follow up with patients or staff

  • Identify urgent patient needs and escalate appropriately

  • Communicate scheduling issues with the practice team

  • Maintain strict HIPAA & PHI compliance

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of U.S. healthcare or dental front-desk/receptionist experience

  • Active HIPAA Certification (or completed HIPAA training)

  • Experience in high-volume call environments

  • Strong phone etiquette and patient-centered communication

  • Experience using EMR/EHR or practice management systems

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask under pressure

Must-Haves

  • Dental, oral surgery, or specialty healthcare experience

  • WinOMS & Weave experience

  • New patient intake experience

  • Patient account support experience

Nice to Have:

  • Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Curve experience
