Job Description

AN IT Solutions provider are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join a law firm for a 3 month intial contract.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Triage tickets within the incident management system.
  • Assess risk risks related to system generated alerts, and user reported issues.
  • Action or escalate issues promptly and consistently in line with playbooks.
  • Identify area of improvement for process or technology.
  • Support incident response engagements by conducting technical investigation activities under direction from the incident lead.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Provide a high standard of customer experience.
  • Maintain effective and timely communication, ensuring appropriate handovers, status updates, and documentation to support continuity of service.

Skills/Experience
  • The ability to assess security events, identify patterns, and draw sound conclusions under pressure.
  • Determine the appropriate course of action, including timely escalation where necessary.
  • Strong Understanding of the Microsoft suite of security tools and controls.
  • Experience working in incident response and security operations.
  • Experience with basic malware analysis for Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
  • Experience with KQL would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of the modern cyber threat landscape.
  • Experience in dealing with partners, staff and external clients,


CONTRACT - 3 MONTHS INTIAL
LOCATION - LONDON (ONSITE)
RATE - INSIDE IR35
