Our client is a well-established and growing Fire & Security company, providing high-quality installation, maintenance and support services across Hampshire and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Service & Installation Engineer to join their team.

The Role

As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and installing a range of fire and security systems across commercial and residential client sites throughout Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure systems remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance visits in accordance with industry standards.
• Produce accurate service reports, installation documentation and compliance records.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota, providing emergency support when required.
• Deliver a professional and customer-focused service on-site.
• Ensure all work complies with current industry regulations and company quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• A good understanding of current industry standards and best practices.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage their own workload.
• A full UK driving licence.
