They are standing up Atlan but the biggest needs for the platform engineer is knowing how Snowflake can communicate with other systems and OWN the platform security, and configurations

Core Skills Snowflake Administration, SQL, Security Practices such as RBAC and SSO, Cloud principals, Operational Experience

Preferred Skills Maia (Matillion), Atlan, Confluent Cloud, Snowflake Openflow, Azure, Azure Entra, Azure Blobstorage, Cloud Networking including private links, Github, CI/CD, Terraform

Secondary Skills Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Mongo DB, , Mongo Atlas, PostgreSQL, Python, VS Code, Scrum, AI tooling such as Github Copilot Snowflake CoCo, and Claude Code, AWS, Aurora, S3 Storage
