ILS-Manager | Munich, Germany | Hybrid

The Role

  • Independently plan, organize, and lead IPS projects.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of logistical elements in collaboration with specialist departments.
  • Support the creation of specifications, requirements, and descriptions for complex systems with internal departments and external service providers.
  • Organize and plan bids and contracts with customers and subcontractors, and assist in negotiations.
  • Independently assess technical changes to vehicle configurations and their impact on IPS disciplines.
  • Monitor project-related performance, costs, schedules, and action lists, translating customer requirements into internal and external task descriptions.
  • Prepare and conduct internal and external project meetings and prepare project management reports.
  • Deliver presentations in German and English, and coordinate/track deliverables.
  • Participate in the development of new vehicle concepts and updates.

What You'll Need

  • Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in project management, preferably in the defense technology sector.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills, particularly for correspondence, presentations, technical explanations, and negotiations.
  • Experience with project management tools and their software implementation.
  • Structured and independent working style, with strong project steering capabilities.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to clearly articulate complex issues.
