Food Technology Teacher – Derby – ASAP Start

We are seeking a passionate Food Technology Teacher to join a school in Derby immediately. This full-time position is suitable for both experienced Food Technology teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

You will be teaching KS3 and KS4 students, helping them develop their practical skills and understanding of food science, nutrition, and safe food preparation. Differentiating lessons for students of various abilities is key to the role.

Experience and Qualifications

• Food Technology Teacher for KS3 and KS4
• QTS or PGCE
• Degree in Food Technology, Home Economics, or a related field
• Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (desirable, but not essential for ECTs)

Salary
The salary for this Food Technology Teacher role will be in line with the MPS/UPS pay scale, depending on experience.
