Job Description

Winder (m/f/d) | Linz, Austria | Hybrid

We're hiring on behalf of a globally leading company in energy technology that specializes in innovative and sustainable solutions for energy generation and transmission. This organization is dedicated to driving the transformation of the energy market with a strong focus on decarbonization and efficiency.

The Role

  • Fabricate windings for transformers and generators.
  • Assemble individual windings for large transformers and mount the completed block onto the iron core.
  • Operate various winding machines, including horizontal and vertical types.
  • Utilize overhead cranes to move windings weighing up to 10 tons.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training in a metal or electrical field, or relevant professional experience.
  • Technical understanding and the ability to read technical plans.
  • Proficiency in operating winding and crane machinery.
  • Willingness to work overtime and in shifts.
  • Ideally, a crane operator's license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Openness to further training, particularly in hard soldering.
