The Role • Fabricate windings for transformers and generators. • Assemble individual windings for large transformers and mount the completed block onto the iron core. • Operate various winding machines, including horizontal and vertical types. • Utilize overhead cranes to move windings weighing up to 10 tons. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training in a metal or electrical field, or relevant professional experience. • Technical understanding and the ability to read technical plans. • Proficiency in operating winding and crane machinery. • Willingness to work overtime and in shifts. • Ideally, a crane operator's license or willingness to obtain one. • Openness to further training, particularly in hard soldering.
