A note on length — this posting is intentionally longer than most. That is deliberate. It gives you a realistic preview of the role and clear guidance on how to present your application, so we suggest reading it in full.

About the job

SOVRA is looking for a Campaign Marketing Strategist to turn the company's growth strategy into integrated campaigns that generate engagement, pipeline, and revenue across its Buyer, Supplier, and Planning businesses. This is new headcount, created as marketing puts more weight behind demand generation across all three lines of business.

The role builds, launches, and optimizes multi-channel campaigns, with particular depth in webinars, paid media, and marketing automation. Rather than owning a single channel, the person in this role contributes where their skills can have the greatest impact as business priorities shift, working across the marketing team to bring campaigns to market and improve how they perform.

Campaigns from this role reach the government agencies and suppliers that rely on SOVRA, and Sales relies on the pipeline they produce. Public sector audiences expect a high standard of accuracy and relevance, so the work is judged not only by volume but by whether the right buyers engage and convert.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

Demand Generation & Campaign Execution

· You build, launch, and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns that generate qualified pipeline for Sales.

· You partner with the Events team to develop strategies for driving booth traffic, capturing and following up on leads, and measuring event performance.

Webinar Marketing & Execution

· You build and execute webinar marketing campaigns, driving registrations through coordinated promotion across email, paid media, SDR outreach, social, and other channels.

· You partner with Product Marketing and Content so that campaigns and webinars are supported by effective messaging and creative assets, and you coordinate post-webinar follow-up and SDR handoff.

· You analyze performance and identify opportunities to improve registration, attendance, engagement, and pipeline.

Paid Media & Marketing Automation

· You execute and optimize campaigns across LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, retargeting, content syndication, and other paid channels, managing budgets, audience targeting, and ongoing performance.

· You develop nurture strategies for key segments and lines of business, partnering with Marketing Operations to implement the corresponding HubSpot campaigns, workflows, and automation.

· You create audience segments based on behavior, lifecycle stage, firmographics, and buying intent, and you monitor and report on lead flow, conversion rates, and key campaign performance metrics.

Testing, Innovation & Performance Optimization

· You design and execute structured A/B tests across messaging, audiences, channels, landing pages, and creative, and you explore new channels, AI capabilities, and technologies that can improve performance.

· You identify and test opportunities to improve brand visibility across traditional search, AI-powered discovery platforms, social media, online communities, and other emerging channels.

What will you bring to this role?

· Demand generation track record — you have 3–5 years in demand generation, growth marketing, digital marketing, or campaign management.

· Marketing automation experience — you have worked hands-on in a marketing automation platform, with HubSpot preferred.

· Webinar and event campaign experience — you have supported webinars, conferences, and event-based campaigns.

· Industry background — you have worked in B2B SaaS, GovTech, or procurement.

· Analytical execution — you have strong analytical skills, interpreting data to identify opportunities, and you manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.

· Written and verbal communication — you communicate clearly and precisely, in writing and in conversation.

· AI tool familiarity — you are familiar with AI tools for content creation, research, campaign optimization, and workflow automation.

· Authorization to work in the US — we are not able to sponsor work visas or transfers at this time.

What are the assets that would make you stand out?

· SEO and GEO knowledge — you have working knowledge of SEO principles and familiarity with GEO, including how content, authority, and distribution influence visibility across traditional and AI-powered search.

· Account-based marketing experience — you have run or supported account-based marketing programs.

· Paid media platform experience — you have executed campaigns directly in LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads.

· Salesforce experience — you have used Salesforce and are familiar with Salesforce reporting.

You should apply if

· You want to work across the full campaign mix rather than a single channel, contributing where the business needs you most as priorities shift.

· You want to be accountable for what a campaign produces after launch, not only for getting it live.

· You are curious about where buyers are finding answers now, and you want to be early to those channels rather than late.

· You are drawn to a mission where better marketing helps government agencies and the suppliers who serve them find each other.

What we look for in applications?

We review every application individually and assess it on its own merits rather than screening for keywords. The most useful applications are specific: tell us which campaigns you shipped, who they were aimed at, and what they produced, with numbers wherever you have them. When you name a platform, add a brief note on what you used it to do, since a tool list on its own says little. Specific detail about your own campaigns tells us more than a general summary of responsibilities.

What does success look like?

· By 3 months: you are running live campaigns, and you know how the existing programs perform and where the gaps sit.

· By 6 months: you own the webinar and paid media programs end to end, and your nurture strategies are live in HubSpot for the segments that matter most.

· By 12 months: you are a trusted source of campaign judgment across the Buyer, Supplier, and Planning businesses, and your testing program informs what the wider marketing team adopts.

Our interview process -

Our process is designed to be thorough while respecting your time. Three conversations cover the substance of the role and how you would work with the marketing team.

· Recruiter screen — your background, what you are looking for, and how you like to work.

· Conversation with the Marketing Manager — your campaign execution experience and how you would approach the role day to day.

· Conversation with the Chief Marketing Officer — how you think about demand generation and where you would take the program.

Why you should join us

SOVRA serves the public sector, and the work carries the weight that comes with that purpose. Every improvement to our platform helps government agencies operate more efficiently and deliver greater value to the communities they serve. We are a company in a period of deliberate growth, and we are looking for professionals who want genuine ownership of their work and a direct hand in building the organization around them. In this role, that ownership is real: your work in demand generation shapes how SOVRA reaches the agencies and suppliers it serves.

Our benefits include the following, with full details shared during the hiring process:

· Comprehensive health and medical coverage.

· Paid time off.

· A structured learning and development program.

· Paid parental leave.

If this role aligns with your experience and ambitions, we encourage you to apply.

Thank you for your interest in SOVRA. However, only selected candidates will be contacted.
