Senior Technical Business Lead

Description:
Diversified Systems is searching for a Senior Technical Business Lead to serve as the critical link between business needs and technical solutions, working directly with leadership, technical teams, and stakeholders to identify, analyze, and implement effective technology solutions.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, extensive experience with application development lifecycles, DevOps practices, IT service management, and project leadership. This role will provide leadership for application support, incident management, change management, and modernization initiatives while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily stand-up meetings with development teams.
• Work directly with Management to address business and technology challenges.
• Collaborate with application development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Lead Incident Management and Change Management activities for the Application Support Team.
• Provide weekly status updates on projects, initiatives, development efforts, and operational activities.
• Maintain application inventory, application support documentation, and organization of the application portfolio.
• Review business requirements and collaborate with technical teams to develop level-of-effort estimates and implementation approaches.
• Support evaluation, adoption, and implementation of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.
• Gather and document requirements with security, accessibility, and compliance considerations in mind.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support modernization initiatives and application lifecycle improvements.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among business units, development teams, and leadership.

Requirements:

• 5 years of DevOps experience required.
• 5 years of experience working within SCRUM, Agile, iterative, and waterfall development methodologies required.
• 5 years of strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication experience required.
• 5 years of experience providing IT Project Management support required.
• 5 years of experience communicating with stakeholders and gathering business requirements required.
• 2 years of experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, including Remedy and ServiceNow required.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues required.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data required.
• Excellent presentation skills required.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise technologies, applications, and software development practices required.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences required.
• Knowledge of industry quality standards, legislation, compliance requirements, and best practices required.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines required.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to changing business and technical requirements required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies required.
• Experience gathering requirements with security and accessibility standards in mind required.
• Experience supporting application modernization projects highly desired.
