Position Summary

• Experienced Lead Appian Developer with over 10 years of IT experience and 8.5 years of expertise in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale Appian applications and business process automation solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Appian BPM, Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Records, Reports, Integrations, Web APIs, Smart Services, and Appian Sites.
• Extensive experience in application architecture, system integrations, data modeling, and enterprise workflow automation across Public Sector, Life Sciences, Banking, and Telecommunication domains.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and PL/SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Appian deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools including GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
• Proven experience leading development teams, mentoring junior developers, managing stakeholder interactions, and driving Agile project delivery.
• Skilled in production support, performance tuning, defect management, application upgrades, and deployment activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions and client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise Appian applications and workflow automation solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Design and develop Appian components including Process Models, Records, Reports, SAIL Interfaces, Rules, Integrations, and Sites.
• Implement integrations with external systems and databases while ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
• Provide code reviews, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure platform stability.
• Support SIT, UAT, production releases, and post-deployment activities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to Appian best practices, coding standards, and governance guidelines.
