This role will focus on the continued development and optimisation of an established digital product, improving how citizens interact with government services and access the support they need.
Rather than building a product from scratch, you will drive continuous improvement, iterative delivery and product optimisation, using user research, data and stakeholder insight to shape priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
Working within a multidisciplinary Agile team, you will help evolve an existing conversational support capability, including AI-enabled journeys that connect users with the appropriate government service teams when further assistance is required.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and develop the product roadmap, aligning user needs, technical capabilities and wider programme objectives.
Drive the continuous improvement and enhancement of existing digital products and services.
Define product goals, success measures and outcomes, using data and user insight to evaluate performance.
Gather and prioritise feedback from users, stakeholders and operational teams.
Manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring delivery teams focus on the highest-value activities.
Translate user research, analytics and stakeholder feedback into actionable product requirements and priorities.
Work closely with Service Designers, User Researchers, Engineers, Data Scientists and Delivery Managers.
Lead product discovery and improvement activities to identify opportunities to optimise the service.
Make evidence-based decisions when balancing competing priorities and stakeholder requirements.
Support the development of AI-enabled user journeys, ensuring solutions remain user-centred, ethical and aligned with government standards.
Collaborate with technical teams to understand existing platform capabilities and identify opportunities for future development.
Communicate product vision, priorities and progress to senior stakeholders across complex organisations.
Ensure delivered solutions meet user needs and comply with relevant accessibility requirements and government service standards.
