New Construction Punch List Technician

Job Description:

Maynor Service Company is seeking a detail-oriented Punch List Technician to serve as the crucial final step on residential and commercial projects. You will resolve lingering trade items, perform final touch-ups, ensure high-quality craftsmanship, and address customer walk-through notes to bring jobs to perfection.

Key Responsibilities

• Punch List Execution: Efficiently complete final project punch items across trades (light plumbing, HVAC finish work, electrical trim, drywall repair, carpentry touch-ups, and hardware installation).

• Quality Assurance & Problem Solving: Inspect completed work against high standards and local codes; independently diagnose and resolve minor finish/installation defects using hand and power tools.

• Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and project managers during final walk-throughs and punch resolutions.

• Site Care & Documentation: Maintain clean, protected workspaces and keep accurate records of completed items, parts, and time using company tracking software.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in general residential/commercial maintenance, multi-trade repair, or construction finish work.

• Technical Skills: Proficient with hand/power tools, measuring equipment, and basic multi-trade troubleshooting.

• Driver’s License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR) to operate a company vehicle.

• Soft Skills: Strong customer service, communication, self-motivation, and time-management abilities.
