The Role

• Review, revise, and maintain regulatory documents, manuals, instructions, and technical orders according to style guides and best practices.
• Edit and standardize technical content provided by subject matter experts to ensure clarity, flow, and readability.
• Develop original written content, including articles, reports, and correspondence, by synthesizing information from diverse sources.
• Maintain a comprehensive listing of technical documents, tracking key data and revision schedules.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to gather technical information and produce clear, accurate written material.
• Support the customer by taking meeting notes, conducting research, and performing fact-checking as needed.

What You'll Need

• BA/BS degree required.
• 10 years of relevant technical writing experience.
• Ability to pass a Public Trust Security Investigation (US Citizenship required).
• Experience developing records management systems, including categorization, indexing, and labeling.
• Proficiency in creating standard operating procedures and ensuring document accessibility.
• Familiarity with Federally-mandated "plain language" writing principles is a plus.
