Solution Architect Java /.NET plus security - NearshoreRemote

Are you a seasoned Solution Architect looking to lead end-to-end technical strategy for high-impact security applications? Randstad Digital Switzerland is partnering with a prestigious client to find a visionary Solution Architect to join their IT delivery organization.
In this role, you will own the architectural roadmap, bridge business intent with deep technical design, and and assist teams working on enterprise-scale security integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Ownership: Lead end-to-end design for core security applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and long-term scalability.
Technical Design & Governance: Facilitate collaborative design sessions with Business and IT leaders, provide high-level design documentation (HLDs), and establish implementation best practices.
Quality & Security Assurance: Conduct rigorous code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks early, and recommend proactive measures for application and code security issues.
Enterprise Integration: Define cross-system integration strategies, maintain solution integrity across vendor ecosystems, and govern overall system architecture (applications, data, integration).
Agile Delivery Alignment: Partner closely with Project Management and development teams on project sizing, gap analysis, interface definitions, and schedule planning.
Asset Building: Drive technical standardization by creating reusable architectural assets for future initiatives.
Your Profile
Education: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
You will have expected to have a minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, alongside 5-7 years working at a senior level with Microsoft and AWS environments.
Technical Depth: Experience in both bespoke software development and COTS product integration. Strong knowledge of Java/JEE or .NET, Web Services (SOAP/REST), Cloud models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and ERP/CRM architecture.
You will also have an undestanding of the following security areas:
Cyber Threat Intelligence Platforms (CTIP)
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Strategic IT Asset Management Initiatives
Vulnerability Management Enhancements
You will have a poven background delivering within Agile (Scrum) frameworks, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical solutions to senior business leaders.
This role is fully remote and so we are open to consultants based in within 2 hours of CET.
