Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on QA Automation Lead to drive our quality assurance initiatives and establish highly scalable automated testing frameworks using AccelQ. In this role, you will lead a team of testing professionals, champion codeless automation best practices, and deeply integrate automated testing into our continuous delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in enterprise application testing, API validation, and Agile methodologies, alongside the leadership skills necessary to partner with cross-functional development and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, mentor, and empower a team of QA engineers (both manual and automation), fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Define, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, QA frameworks, and best practices tailored to enterprise-scale applications.
• Act as the primary QA point of contact for stakeholders, including Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps, providing clear metrics, quality dashboards, and release status reports.
• Evaluate project requirements to determine the optimal balance between manual exploration and automated test coverage.

Automation Design & Execution

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, codeless automation frameworks utilizing AccelQ for UI, API, and end-to-end workflows.
• Drive the conversion of manual test cases into highly reusable, modular, and data-driven AccelQ automation assets.
• Oversee the execution of functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
• Manage complex test data setups and parameterization within AccelQ to support various environments and persona-based testing.

CI/CD & Integration

• Integrate AccelQ automation suites seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing.
• Monitor test execution logs, analyze automation results, debug script failures caused by UI/API changes, and oversee the defect lifecycle through to resolution.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure testing standards are enforced throughout the deployment lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of overall Quality Assurance experience, with at least 3+ years in a QA Lead, Test Manager, or Lead Automation role.
• AccelQ Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test suites specifically using AccelQ.
• API Testing: Strong background in validating APIs (REST/SOAP) and backend data integrations using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Methodology: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum practices, and modern test design techniques.
• Tools: Proficiency with defect tracking and test management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and version control/CI tools (e.g., Git, CircleCI).
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities, strong stakeholder communication, and the capacity to guide technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain expertise in testing large enterprise platforms such as Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud), Oracle, or major ERP implementations.
• Exposure to database querying (SQL), log analysis, and file comparisons for backend validation.
• Understanding of AI-driven test automation concepts or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.
