The Role • Manage all pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities for the Design team. • Oversee monthly project reviews, focusing on financial performance, risk, and opportunity management. • Lead subcontractor procurement, including tendering, scope definition, analysis, and appointment. • Manage project change control, including agreeing variations and validating associated costs. • Review client contracts and advise design teams on obligations and risks. • Monitor utilisation and support reductions in overheads. What You'll Need • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, consultancy, or design environments. • Demonstrable experience with NEC contracts, subcontractor procurement, and management. • Experience in contract review, identifying risks, constraints, and onerous terms. • Practical knowledge of client application processes, project forecasting, and commercial reporting. • Working knowledge of change control, including evaluating variations and managing risk/opportunity. • Strong understanding of commercial governance frameworks and compliance processes.
