We are seeking a Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 10+ and modern backend application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications. Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem technologies is required to support data-intensive applications and integrations, though this is not a core Hadoop development role.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable Microservices and REST APIs.
• Integrate applications with distributed data platforms and messaging systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Work in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Support data processing and integration workflows involving Hadoop-based platforms.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
• Understanding of software design patterns and secure coding practices.

Hadoop Experience (Good to Have / Secondary Skill)

Candidate should possess working knowledge of:

• Hadoop ecosystem concepts (HDFS, YARN, Hive)
• Basic Hive query development and troubleshooting
• Understanding of data ingestion and batch processing workflows
• Experience working with Hadoop-based data platforms in support of application development
• Exposure to Spark is a plus
