Multi-Skilled Engineer – Food Manufacturing<br />- Location: Bedford<br />- Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 + Benefits!<br />- Shift Pattern: PANAMA - Days and Nights Are you a Multi-Skilled Engineer with expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering? Our client, a leading name in the food manufacturing industry, is looking for a highly skilled and proactive engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery and site equipment<br />- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs<br />- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime<br />- Ensuring compliance with health &amp; safety and food industry regulations<br />- Working collaboratively with the engineering and production teams to maintain high operational standards What We’re Looking For: - City &amp; Guilds Level 3 (or above) in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)<br />- Experience working within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment<br />- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure<br />- Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated systems is beneficial<br />- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent teamwork and communication skills
