Sr. Storage Engineer - Hitachi/Pure

***Hybrid, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote***

Responsibilities:

·       Design, implement, and manage storage solutions, primarily using Hitachi and Pure Storage arrays. 

·       Collaborate with storage vendors on installation, upgrades, and replacements of storage arrays. 

·       Ensure optimal performance and reliability of storage systems. 

·       Administer Cisco MDS Fibre Channel switches.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams on storage projects and requests. 

·       Document processes and maintain company standards for storage system architecture. 

Qualifications:

·       7+ years of experience in storage engineering. 

·       Strong expertise in Hitachi storage solutions: OpsCenter Admin, CM-REST, Analyzer, and RAIDCOM 

·       Deep understanding of Fibre Channel switching layer with an ability to troubleshoot.

·       Familiarity with Pure Storage arrays. 

·       Proficient in RHEL multipath configuration for various array types.

·       Detailed knowledge of the Hitachi and Pure array model lines. 

·       Troubleshooting skills for Fibre Channel performance issues. 

·       NDFC and Linux is a plus to have.

·       Ability to write and understand scripts used for automation of data collection tasks. 

·       Experience with software-defined and object storage solutions.

·       Knowledge of data replication options and when to utilize each.
