Job Description

Job Description: Oracle Inventory Optimization (MEIO) Solution Architect / Consultant

Role Title

Senior Solution Architect / Consultant Oracle Fusion Cloud Inventory Optimization & Supply Chain Planning (26C)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Supply Chain Planning specialist to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) solutions using Oracle Fusion Cloud Inventory Optimization (release 26C or later). This role will drive inventory strategy transformation for clients by optimizing safety stock, service levels, and network inventory placement across multi-region, multi-echelon supply chains while also identifying opportunities to expand Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM license footprint within existing and prospective accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud Inventory Optimization, with a strong preference for hands-on experience in the 26C release (or most recent quarterly update).
  • Design and configure Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) models: safety stock calculation, target service levels, demand/supply variability modeling, risk pooling strategies, and postponement strategies across the supply network.
  • Configure and tune Oracle Replenishment Planning and Oracle Supply Planning to align inventory policies with service-level targets and cost-to-serve objectives.
  • Architect and optimize multi-region sourcing strategies and inventory networks, balancing lead time, cost, capacity, and risk across distribution nodes.
  • Lead integration design between Oracle Fusion SCM Planning and external ERP and inventory execution systems (e.g., legacy ERP, WMS, third-party planning or execution tools), ensuring clean data flows for demand, supply, and inventory positions.
  • Partner with client stakeholders (supply chain planning, finance, and IT) to translate business inventory strategy into system configuration and governance processes.
  • Support pre-sales activities: solution demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical scoping to support license expansion conversations with prospective and existing Oracle customers.
  • Produce clear documentation: solution design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Planning, specifically Inventory Optimization / MEIO, Replenishment Planning, and/or Supply Planning modules.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring MEIO parameters: service level targets, safety stock policies, risk pooling, and postponement strategies in a live client environment.
  • Experience designing multi-region/multi-node inventory networks and sourcing rules.
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion SCM Planning with external ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, or other) and inventory execution/WMS platforms.
  • Acceptable alternative background: Deep MEIO experience on Oracle EBS, Oracle ASCP, or another enterprise-grade inventory optimization platform (e.g., Blue Yonder, o9, Kinaxis), combined with working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Planning.
  • Strong understanding of inventory optimization concepts: demand variability, lead time variability, service level trade-offs, and total network cost optimization.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills; comfortable presenting to both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM certification(s), particularly in Planning or Inventory Optimization.
  • Prior experience on Oracle EBS-to-Fusion Cloud migration projects.
  • Experience supporting sales cycles: scoping, demos, or business case development for Oracle Cloud SCM license expansion.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar middleware for ERP/execution system integration.
