The Role

• Provide crucial support to key Submarine shipbuilding program offices, including COLUMBIA and VIRGINIA Class Submarine programs.
• Contribute to the research and development of innovative engineering solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Engage in the design and implementation of advanced systems and materials, aligning with technological progress.
• Analyze the environmental and user impact of developed products and systems.
• Oversee testing and production phases, ensuring quality and efficiency in manufactured products.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in any technical or engineering discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
• A secret security clearance is essential for this role.
• Proven ability to apply scientific and mathematical principles to solve engineering problems.
• Experience in the design, testing, qualification, and production of naval shipboard electrical and/or propulsion equipment is highly desired.
• Familiarity with Submarines and/or the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program is a plus.
