We're seeking an experienced instructor for a leading organization in maritime training, dedicated to equipping the next generation of naval personnel with critical engineering skills. This role offers a chance to contribute to vital national security initiatives by imparting hands-on expertise in small boat operations and maintenance.

The Role

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on small navy watercraft propulsion and auxiliary systems.
• Operate and manage casualties of propulsion systems in-port and underway.
• Execute pre-start and post-operation checks for equipment.
• Provide classroom instruction and live laboratory training on marine engineering concepts.
• Adhere to all safety and ethical standards, maintaining a clean work environment.

What You'll Need

• Six (6) years of experience as a Navy Engineman, Construction Mechanic, Electrician's Mate, or equivalent civilian experience.
• Proficiency in marine propulsion, electrical, auxiliary, and control systems.
• Ability to perform classroom instruction and practical, hands-on training.
• Qualified as a Navy Second Class Swimmer or possess equivalent water competency.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials, requiring US Citizenship.
