Multi-Trader

Location: Nationwide
Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term Opportunities.
Hours: Monday – Friday
Rate: £220 – £250 per day.
Travel: Nationwide projects with accommodation provided when working away, with fuel payed.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Multi-Trader to support a range of refurbishment, fit-out and conversion projects across the UK.

Projects will include school conversions, retail refurbishments and commercial fit-outs, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to work on different sites nationwide.

This role would suit an experienced subcontractor who takes pride in their work, can turn their hand to several trades and is comfortable travelling and staying away from home when required.

The Role

You will be working alongside site teams, carrying out a variety of refurbishment and finishing tasks to help keep projects running smoothly.

Typical duties will include:

• Completing minor brickwork repairs and alterations.
• Carrying out wall and floor tiling.
• Patch plastering and making good.
• Undertaking basic carpentry and joinery.
• General refurbishment and finishing works.
• Completing snagging and defect rectification.
• Ensuring work is finished to a high standard.
• Following site instructions, drawings and health and safety procedures.

• Previous experience as a Multi-Trader within construction, refurbishment or fit-out.

• Competent across several of the trades listed above.
• Own van or suitable transport and tools.
• Valid CSCS card preferred.
• Willingness to travel to projects throughout the UK.
• Able to stay away from home when project locations require it.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Confident following drawings and site instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday.
• Day work only.
• Weekend work is uncommon but may occasionally be required to meet project deadlines.
• Nationwide projects, with accommodation provided when working away.

• £220 – £250 per day.
