Role: MDM Project Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-12 Months
A Project Manager (PM) for an Informatica MDM implementation leads end-to-end delivery of enterprise data projects. Coordinate technical teams, manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, and align data governance strategies with business goals using platforms like the Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
Role Overview & Objectives
* Lead delivery: Drive full lifecycle Informatica MDM implementations from discovery to production rollout.
* Stakeholder bridge: Connect business data stewards with technical architects and developers.
* Resource management: Oversee cross-functional onshore/offshore integration and data engineering teams
Key Responsibilities
* Project planning: Create and manage detailed work plans, milestones, and resource allocations.
* Scope & change control: Manage project scope, track deliverables, and handle change requests.
* Risk management: Identify technical or data-related risks (such as data profiling hurdles or match-merge bottlenecks) and build mitigation plans.
* Status reporting: Run steering committee meetings and report project health, budget burn, and KPIs to leadership.
* Vendor liaison: Coordinate closely with Informatica Professional Services or external support vendors when technical escalations occur.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 8+ years in IT project management, with at least 3 5 years specifically managing Data Governance, ETL, or MDM implementations.
Technical familiarity: Solid conceptual understanding of Informatica MDM (Multidomain, SaaS/IDMC), data quality, matching/merging rules, and data modeling.
Methodologies: Certified in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) or PMP (Project Management Professional).
Soft skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and executive presentation capabilities
Experience managing hybrid teams (Onsite/offshore) teams
Experience with building products companies
