Job Title: Boomi EDI Architect

Location: Plano, TX 75024 (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Detailed JD:

We are seeking an experienced Boomi EDI Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise B2B/EDI integration solutions using the Dell Boomi platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in EDI standards, B2B integration frameworks, API-led connectivity, partner onboarding, and large-scale migration programs.

The role requires engagement with business stakeholders, solution architects, and integration teams to define scalable integration architectures, establish governance standards, and ensure successful delivery of mission-critical EDI and application integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

10+ Years of Integration Experience with 6+ Years of Boomi Architecture
Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of Boomi EDI/B2B integration solutions.
Design scalable integrations involving EDI, APIs, cloud applications, and on-premise systems.
Define solution architecture for X12, EDIFACT, RosettaNet, and partner integration requirements.
Drive trading partner onboarding, partner profile configuration, and communication protocols setup.
Architect AS2, SFTP, HTTP/S, API-based, and hybrid B2B integrations.
Lead EDI migration initiatives from legacy middleware platforms to Boomi.
Establish integration standards, governance frameworks, reusable components, and best practices.
Design exception handling, monitoring, alerting, and operational support models.
Review technical designs, mappings, and integration processes developed by project teams.
Collaborate with business stakeholders on integration strategy and roadmap planning.
Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and hyper-care activities.
Provide technical mentorship to integration developers and leads.

Required Technical Skills:

Boomi Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere.
Expertise Boomi B2B/EDI Framework and Integration Architecture.
Experience with Atom, Molecule, and environment management.
Performance tuning and optimization of Boomi integrations.

Strong debugging and production support capabilities EDI/B2B Skills Deep expertise in EDI standards:

ANSI X12
EDIFACT
Rosetta Net
Experience in:
Trading Partner Management
Partner Onboarding
TP Routing
AS2 Configuration
EDI Mapping and Validation
Experience supporting large trading partner ecosystems.

Integration Skills:

REST APIs, SOAP Web Services
XML, JSON, Flat File, EDI Data Formats
API-led Integration Architecture
Application-to-Application (A2A) Integrations Cloud and On-Premises Connectivity Event-driven Integration Patterns Preferred Skills Boomi Architect Certification or Professional Certification.
Experience with Manufacturing, Semiconductor, Supply Chain, or Retail domains.
Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, SuccessFactors, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics integrations.
Exposure DevOps, CI/CD, and Integration Governance frameworks.
Experience in large-scale migration and modernization programs.
