Title: IT Product Manager IV
Location: Remote- Someone who can work pacific time zone hours
Pay rate: $120.00 - 125/hour DOE
Duration: 7+Months (Possibility of extension)
Skills
  • Own the product vision and strategy for a core piece of the Tax filing experience, balancing near-term delivery with long-term foundational investment
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities to improve usability, accuracy and customer confidence across the product
  • Drive the development of AI-powered and personalized capabilities that reduce customer effort and improve outcomes
  • Partner with Design and Engineering to make complex experiences feel simple, intuitive and trustworthy
  • Use experimentation, customer research and data to validate ideas, measure impact and continuously iterate
  • Lead end-to-end execution in partnership with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Content and Compliance/Legal
  • Drive alignment and clear decision-making across cross-functional stakeholders, even amid ambiguity
  • Communicate strategy, progress and results clearly to senior leadership
  • Champion accuracy, reliability and customer trust in every product decision
  • Stay current on emerging AI and product trends and identify opportunities to apply them to Tax software

Responsibilities
  • Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that span Product Management, Engineering, and GTM teams — translating product requirements into detailed technical specifications that engineering teams can act on with minimal ambiguity
  • Skilled at partnering with Product Managers to refine and decompose requirements, and with Engineering leads to assess technical feasibility, surface dependencies, and sequence delivery
  • Strong ability to sequence dependencies, communicate clear estimates, and guide teams through pivots while balancing experimentation with strategic investment
  • Experience operating in Agile environments, contributing to sprint planning, story refinement, and acceptance criteria definition in close partnership with both PM and engineering
  • Strong accountability for end-to-end solution design and delivery, cultivating partnerships across Product, Design, Analytics, Sales, and Customer Success

Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Additional Information
Work is expected to be done in a Remote PST schedule.
