GNSS Software Engineer

Job Title: GNSS Software Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA (onsite, 5 days/week)

Duration: 6+ months contract

Description:

• Analysis of complex software and hardware systems to determine sources of anomalies and potential improvement

• Statistical data analysis to identify trends and issues with current technologies and IP

• Analyze customer field reports for issues relating to acquisition, tracking and/or measurement quality

• Analyze positioning performance. Develop, implement and test changes necessary to resolve issues and enhance performance

• Prepare documentation on algorithms, software and test results

• Ability to multi-task effectively under considerable pressure of deadlines and easily adapt within a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

Background/ Experience:

• Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering, Geomatics Engineering or relevant disciplines and more than 3 years of related experience

• Knowledge of GNSS positioning, measurements, and error modeling

• Understanding about basic machine learning is a plus

• Experience with Jira, Gerrit, Git is a plus

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

• Able to work with minimal supervision while working in a team atmosphere

• Fast learning, hard-working, and self-driven
