We are expanding our curated network of senior lawyers interested in interim, fractional, and project-based consulting engagements.

We are particularly interested in commercially minded lawyers who enjoy working closely with founders, boards, investors, and senior leadership teams - and who can quickly understand a business, establish trusted relationships, and take ownership of important legal challenges.

Typical engagements may include:

• Acting as interim or fractional General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, or senior legal counsel
• Establishing a company’s first legal function, or developing an existing function as the business scales
• Supporting founders and leadership teams through rapid growth, fundraising, or international expansion
• Providing strategic legal support to high-growth PE or VC-backed portfolio companies
• Leading complex commercial negotiations, major customer or supplier contracts, and strategic partnerships
• Supporting acquisitions, disposals, integrations, investments, or exit-readiness
• Strengthening governance, risk management, compliance, and legal operating processes
• Providing specialist expertise during a transaction, transformation, remediation programme, or period of unusually high demand

We would particularly like to hear from lawyers who:

• Have operated at a senior level within an in-house legal team, leading law firm, or consulting environment
• Understand the pace, ambiguity, and commercial pressures associated with scaling or investor-backed businesses
• Are comfortable working directly with founders, executives, boards, and other senior stakeholders
• Can combine strong legal judgement with a practical, solutions-oriented approach
• Are able to integrate quickly, work autonomously, and deliver meaningful outcomes from the outset

Relevant backgrounds may include General Counsel and legal leadership, commercial and technology, corporate and M&A, financial services and regulation, data and privacy, intellectual property, employment, disputes, compliance, transformation, and other specialist areas.

You may already be an established legal consultant, be developing a portfolio career, or be considering moving from an in-house or private practice role into more flexible consulting work.
