Job Description

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in Security Engineering with a strong background in infrastructure and cloud security.
Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise firewall solutions (Fortinet preferred; Palo Alto experience is acceptable).
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, and security architecture.
Experience securing Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud platforms.
Proven experience with endpoint security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), vulnerability management, and security incident response.
Experience managing third-party security assessments and vendor risk management processes (TPRM).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Proofpoint Email Security and DLP solutions.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, SecureWorks, Qualys, or other SIEM/XDR platforms.
Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash for security automation.
Experience with Okta MFA implementation and administration.
Knowledge of healthcare security standards, including HIPAA/HITECH compliance.
Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AZ-500, Security+, CCSP, or HCISPP.
