Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Security Engineering with a strong background in infrastructure and cloud security.

  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise firewall solutions (Fortinet preferred; Palo Alto experience is acceptable).

  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, and security architecture.

  • Experience securing Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud platforms.

  • Proven experience with endpoint security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), vulnerability management, and security incident response.

  • Experience managing third-party security assessments and vendor risk management processes (TPRM).

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Proofpoint Email Security and DLP solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, SecureWorks, Qualys, or other SIEM/XDR platforms.

  • Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash for security automation.

  • Experience with Okta MFA implementation and administration.

  • Knowledge of healthcare security standards, including HIPAA/HITECH compliance.

  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AZ-500, Security+, CCSP, or HCISPP.
