Job Description

Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Project Manager (M&E Building Services) for our client based in Glasgow.


Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a background in Mechanical & Electrical Building Services to join a growing and financially secure organisation. Working across Glasgow and the Central Belt, the successful candidate will take ownership of commercial and industrial projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the continued growth of an expanding Building Services division.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the successful delivery of multiple M&E building services projects.
  • Coordinate site teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring programmes and milestones are achieved.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and main contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project budgets and support strong commercial performance.
  • Attend and lead site and project meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Manage projects from pre-start through to final handover.
  • Coordinate material procurement and call-offs to support construction programmes.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.


Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience managing Mechanical & Electrical Building Services projects.
  • Time-served Electrician, Plumber/Heating Engineer, or other relevant industry background.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good commercial awareness with the ability to monitor project performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
