Title : Quality Engineer / Auditor – Aerospace Manufacturing
Location: Paramount, CA
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience conducting product, process, and/or quality system audits, along with strong knowledge of quality standards, documentation, traceability, and inspection processes. Experience with AS9100, First Article Inspection (FAI), aerospace forgings/metals, and configuration management is highly preferred.
This is an onsite position in Paramount, CA and requires a detail-oriented professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform product, process, and quality system audits in accordance with applicable quality requirements.

Support quality engineering activities within aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.

Review manufacturing and quality documentation for accuracy, compliance, and traceability.

Support First Article Inspection (FAI) activities and related documentation.

Assist with product and process quality investigations and corrective actions.

Verify product configuration, specifications, and associated quality records.

Identify quality issues, document findings, and communicate recommendations for corrective action.

Prepare clear and accurate technical reports, audit findings, and quality documentation.

Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working in a fast-paced production environment.
Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

3–5 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related quality function.

Experience working in aerospace manufacturing, aerospace metals, or another highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Previous experience conducting product, process, and/or quality system audits.

Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.

Strong technical writing and reporting capabilities.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with aerospace forgings or metal manufacturing.

Experience with AS9100 quality management systems.

Experience with AS9102 / First Article Inspection (FAI).

Product audit experience.

Configuration management experience.
-
Product traceability experience.
-
Experience working within highly regulated manufacturing environments.
