About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Site Associate to support critical material handling, packaging, crate fabrication, and site operations activities. This role is ideal for individuals with construction, carpentry, fabrication, warehouse, or maintenance experience who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and solving practical challenges.
The Site Associate will be responsible for building custom crates and pallet solutions, handling incoming and outgoing materials, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring parts and equipment are packaged, transported, and stored safely. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently while supporting operational objectives.
Please note: This is an outdoor role that may require working in sunlight, lifting heavy materials, and operating in confined or challenging workspaces.

Key Responsibilities
Fabrication & Packaging
- Build custom crates, pallets, and shipping containers to safely transport materials and equipment.
- Read and interpret basic drawings, blueprints, measurements, and placement requirements.
- Ensure all items are properly packaged, secured, and protected from damage during transport and storage.
- Perform basic fabrication tasks using hand and power tools, saws, and measuring equipment.
- Identify appropriate packaging materials based on product specifications and handling requirements.
- Receive, unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
- Perform quality inspections and verify materials against established procedures and documentation.
- Sort, stage, store, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Support inventory transactions and data entry within inventory management systems.
- Assist with storage audits and inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material (BOMs) when required.
- Safely operate forklifts, electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), reach trucks, turret trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and follow safety procedures at all times.
- Move heavy components and materials throughout operational areas.
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve operational roadblocks that may impact quality or productivity.
- Support root cause analysis activities and provide details for corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records, receipts, and work order documentation.
- Contribute to operational excellence with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of experience in construction, carpentry, fabrication, warehouse operations, fulfillment, logistics, inventory management, or material handling.
- Hands-on experience building crates, pallets, frames, or similar structures.
- Ability to read and execute basic drawings, blueprints, measurements, and schematics.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, saws, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a technical environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
- Experience with diesel equipment maintenance.
- Basic DC electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Hydraulic systems knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience reading mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Previous forklift certification and operating experience.
- Experience with CNC machines or 3D printers.
- Aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, or industrial warehouse experience.
- Receiving, inventory control, kitting, shipping, and fulfillment center experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work for extended periods.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and machinery.
- Describe your experience with fulfillment, inventory management, receiving, and packaging operations. Please include years of experience and companies worked for.
- Do you have experience deriving inventory requirements from Bills of Material (BOMs)? Please explain.
- Describe your experience with receiving, put-away, picking, kitting, shipping, or warehouse operations.

- Describe any experience you have with construction, carpentry, crate building, fabrication, diesel maintenance, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, or schematic reading.
