Job Description

Role: CMS / Backend Developer

Location: REMOTE

CONTRACT -W2

Minimum 6 years of web application development, including at least 4 years with open-source CMS platforms.
Drupal, WordPress, or equivalent CMS experience, including backend configuration, content types, taxonomies, workflows, and custom modules or plugins.
PHP or relevant backend language, SQL databases, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Searchable document repositories, tagging, filtering, content calendars, news publishing, notifications, staff directories, forms, and role-based administration.
Third-party integrations such as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, ArcGIS Maps, social media, video, and translation services.
Secure coding, input validation, access controls, patching, error handling, caching, and performance optimization.
Migration testing, bug resolution, deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, and post-launch maintenance.
